Sonia Brown MBE is a highly respected business communicator, coach, trainer and writer, with over 20 years in marketing, branding and life skills development. She is an authority on many areas of business, leadership, sales and marketing, as well as supporting individuals to achieve success in all areas of life.

She founded the National Black Women’s Network; Let’s Talk Business Networking Forum and Sistatalk the UK’s leading online forum for women looking to connect with leading companies, decision makers and industry peers. More recently she launched the Inspirational Women’s Super Summit in London and the Scottish Parliament as well as EVOLVE; a six step business growth programme aimed at solo and micro entrepreneurs.

Sonia has successfully worked with the who’s who in business and is endorsed by government departments and ministers, leading banks and financial institutions including top FTSE companies as well as working with a number of high profile champions.

She has worked extensively with the British Banking Association, government departments and numerous retail banks to shape the business agenda for women and ethnic minorities.

As a network maverick, Sonia launched the Female and BME Business Led Forum from London’s City Hall working closely with The Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP, the current Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Foreign & Commonwealth Office and former Mayor of London.  The Forum has been supported by a number of Minister for Women including Caroline Dinenage MP and Victoria Atkins MP.

Sonia is a keen advocator for using business for social action and reform  She has worked with former Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, the Right Honourable, the Lord Hogan-Howe QPM to increase representation of women and ethnic minorities in the Metropolitan Police.

Sonia has been named one of the Top 50 diversity figures in public life on the Global List nominated by readers of The Economist and is the International Alliance for Women (TIAW) World of Difference 100 Award Recipient for the economic empowerment of women; Global Punjabi Society Recipient and the BBI Honorary Woman Business Leader of the Year


She contributes to a number of radio shows, magazines and newspapers on women, diversity, public appointments and enterprise issues. She is also the Director of Communications, Women in Public Policy UK. She is a regular speaker on diversity, gender and enterprise; runs private workshops to promote branding, marketing and networking skills for corporate and business clients. She is a certified NLP trainer and business mentor.
